Styles Richie, Jr Wins the Big Baby Contest!
A big baby contest was held at the Po’s Man Banquet to help raise money for the family reunion. The contestants were Teresa Goodine, Darian Simpkin, and Styles Richie, Jr. Congratulations to Styles Richie, Jr. the winner, Teresa Goodine as 1st runner up, and to Darian Simpkin who played the role as Teresa’s daddy in the Big Baby Contest. It was lots of fun!

Katie Jackson Richie was born in Toccoa, Georgia (Stephen County). Her homegoing was on Saturday, August 16, 2013, at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia at 3:00 pm. Reverend Anthony Scott officiated . Kate married Howard Richie and to this union seven children (Donnie, Dedgra, Vincent, Valencia, Aletha, James, Kimberly) were born.
Kimberly Richie Lane  March 29th, 1969 - December 4th, 2013
Kimberly Richie Lane was born in Toccoa, Georga in Stepehns County on March 29, 1969, to Kate and Howard Richie. Kim has 
two sons Antwell and Mickael and was the youngest of six brothers and sisters (Donnie, Dedgra, Vincent, Valencia, Aletha, James).  At time of death Kim had one granddaughter.

Bernard Richie January 28th, 1964 - December 6th, 2013
Bernard Edward Richie died on Friday, December 6, 2013. Nod, as he was fondly called, was the second of four children born to the late Henry and Barbara Pittman Richie. Bernard was the grandson of Styles and Almeda Richie. Bernard joined Rogers Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful employee of the University of Georgia as Grounds Crew Supervisor, a position he held for many years. Bernard also held a PhD in hat wearing, fishing and going to the movies. He had a strong passion for family, friends, and the Georgia "Dawgs".

Fredrick Marcellus Hawes October 6th, 1963-December 20th, 2013
Fredrick Marcellus Hawes, son of the late Leeola Downer and Murray Allen, died on December 21, 2013. Marcellus graduated from the Oconee County School System. He was the husband of Henrietta Richie Hawes, who is the daughter of the late Henry and Barbara Sue Richie. Marcellus was the father of nine children.
